Our visits
PROBUS VISITS
Probus organises a number of visits each year, to which partners are invited.
We aim to organise a variety of “experiences” including visits to places of historical interest, musical events, gardens and stately homes plus places of general interest
All visits include a lunch, and transport by coach where appropriate.
The club publishes a schedule of visits each year, which inevitably includes some returns to visits.
PREVIOUS VISITS
We have regularly visited theatres, including Chichester, Guildford and Brighton.
Garden visits have included Saville Gardens and Pashley Manor Gardens.
Our visits to stately home and historic buildings have included Firle House, Loseley Hall, Chartwell, Chelsea Royal Hospital, Two Temple Place and Crossness Pumping Station - a cathedral of ironwork, a monument to Victorian engineering and a very popular filmset.
